About the event
Join Open Way Learning for a hands-on day of exploring how phenomena can make science learning more relevant, engaging, and student-driven.
You’ll examine examples and resources, collaborate with other educators, and co-design a phenomena-based lesson connected to your standards. You’ll also explore how community places, people, challenges, and opportunities can help students see meaningful connections between science and the world around them.
By the end of the workshop, you will have:
• A stronger understanding of phenomena-based instruction
• Practical resources and examples to use in your classroom
• Time to develop a phenomena-based lesson connected to your standards
