About the event
Discover how visual storytelling can strengthen student voice, deepen learning, and extend the impact of a lesson beyond the classroom.
Students encounter and communicate information in many forms. Whether they are interpreting data, explaining a scientific idea, documenting a project, or telling a community story, they need tools for making meaning and sharing it effectively.
During this hands-on workshop, you’ll explore digital and analog resources that students can use to interpret information, communicate ideas, and express their learning. You’ll have time to adapt these tools for an upcoming lesson or project.
By the end of the workshop, you will have:
• Practical visual-storytelling tools and classroom examples
• Strategies for increasing student voice and choice
