Using community mentors and project-based learning, this rural high school is opening up opportunities for its students.
Tri-County Early College is focusing on providing opportunities for its students through the use of community mentors and project-based learning. By tapping into the expertise of mentors within the community, the school aims to offer real-world experience and practical knowledge to its students. This approach emphasizes hands-on learning, fostering a more dynamic educational environment.
By integrating project-based learning, students are encouraged to take an active role in their education, developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills in the process. As a result, the school is working to create an environment that not only imparts academic knowledge but also equips students with practical, real-world skills that can prepare them for their future endeavors.
