This blog features a project from Macon County, NC, where student-led design sprints had powerful results.
Inspired by the work of Open Way Learning, Macon Early College (MEC) utilized Design Sprints to empower student voices and foster a student-centered culture. These sprints enabled students to identify and address school issues, leading to improved communication and increased student ownership of projects. The initiative culminated in students developing and presenting project prototypes for real-world problems, setting the stage for impactful schoolwide projects in the upcoming year.
