Hurricane Helene Lesson Library

Created by Western North Carolina teachers, these classroom-ready lessons help students reflect on Hurricane Helene, understand its impact, and explore community resilience. Developed through the WNC Resilience Project in partnership with Western Carolina University, each lesson includes clear learning goals, standards alignment, and adaptable activities for diverse grade levels and subjects.
